“Green Team exist to mobilise Christians from all over South Australia into mission, but serving at the annual Schoolies Festival in Victor Harbor. We are there to help the graduating class of 201 celebrate their achievement of finishing school, to do it safely, as well as serve the local community by minimising the impact on them. This is our
13th year at Schoolies Festival, and it is the ONLY non-government led School Leaver response operation in Australia.
Green Team’s purpose is to LOVE, SERVE, and RESTORE.
Love // To live out the love we’ve received with humility and integrity.
Serve // To serve with a heart of acceptance in every circumstance.
Restore // To bring His restoration to all people and all environments.
Put simply, we are representing the heart of God, and following Jesus’ example. We are at Schoolies to put the ‘Word’ into action. Jesus calls US to be His hands and feet, and this is an opportunity for US to do that.”
