Kerygma is a ministry within Youth With A Mission International. We are based in 9 locations across continents, Kerygma reaches out to the people in the Catholic World.
Kerygma supports Catholic parishes, movements and groups active in evangelisation, mercy ministries and training in the Catholic World. In addition, Kerygma Teams offers opportunities for any young person to become involved in short and long-term missions projects.
In Australia, Kerygma is based in YWAM Southlands Melbourne.
Kerygma Australia, runs short-term mission trips with the aim of encouraging and mobilizing young Catholics into missions.
We run Discipleship Training Schools with a focus on serving the Catholic world.
Day to day we endeavor to bring reconciliation and partnership between different denominations and the Catholic world, by facilitating events, programs and mission trips. Bringing awareness, understanding and reconciliation.
Kerygma Australia helps other YWAMers and YWAM location to be better equipped to reach out to the Catholic World, by offering seminars and assistance when planning a mission trip.
We offer opportunities for YWAMers to serve at Catholic events, such as the World Youth Days, which attract over 1 million people.
We also offer opportunites for Catholics to be involved in other major Christian events, such as Olympic Outreaches.
